It started with the difficult task of bidding farewell to Jamiatul Zahra which was almost like leaving our own homes. We will miss it a lot especially the Maadars who served us like their own children. Bidding them a farewell was an emotional scene.
Nurses and Medical Practitioners Retreat in Najaf Iraq
The World Federation’s Najaf Office will be running a retreat specifically designed for nurses, doctors, and medical students in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq, from 15th April to 25th April 2019. Deadline for the application is on the 10th of March.
The retreat is open to adults (18 years of age and older) who are either working in the medical profession or are studying in a medical field, and who would like to develop professionally and personally in a spiritual setting.
Participants will be taken to perform the Ziyarats in Najaf, Karbala, Kazimain, and Samarrah, and one of the highlights of the retreat will be experiencing Karbala on the 15th of Shaban.
Arrangements will also be made for participants to visit and ask questions to high-ranking scholars.
The heavily subsided cost of the retreat is only $350 per person. This includes:
- Airport transfers
- Ground transportation
- Accommodation in Najaf, Kerbala and Kazimain
- All meals
Other costs which will need to be covered by the participant independently are:

- USD $50 for Visa approval + Visa Admin fee of $50
