Dear Brothers and Sisters,
When you see a fellow human being suffering or hear of a disaster that has taken place, your first instinct is to help. Where do you turn? If you’re like most in our community, you will turn to The World Federation, an organisation that helps individual efforts come together to help those in need.
With The World Federation, you can be confident that your donation will indeed reach those who deserve it. You can also be safe in the knowledge that your contribution will be spent responsibly and in a way that protects the dignity and respect of the beneficiary, so that he/she is made to feel very much a part of our global family. We ensure that those who receive from us feel loved and cared for because it is their right.
Your past support has helped make The World Federation the leading global humanitarian aid organization of the Khoja Shia Muslim community that it is. I speak on behalf of every past President of The World Federation when I say that we are so very grateful to you for supporting our committed team of relief and care workers in their diverse range of aid initiatives across the world.
Thanks to you, we as an organization have touched the lives of hundreds of thousands – whether they faced an urgent need, a devastating disaster or sought to improve their quality of life.
The World Federation is your aid agency. We exist to serve humanity – to provide hope, healing and recovery. In these uncertain and unpredictable times, your donation is extremely important to us, because it provides resources that make an immediate impact on the lives of others.
Your gift – be it $25 or $5,000 - can make all the difference in the lives of orphans, widows, seniors, the disabled and to everyone who is struggling in one way or another. You can make a donation to our “GREATEST NEED FUND” or you can specify your gift to a particular project.
The World Federation needs your support now more than ever. Whatever you choose to give, I promise you that your donation will be used to make a difference in the life of another human being. So, please consider making as generous a gift as you can.
As poverty continues its upward progression and as the world witnesses more disasters, we - your aid agency - are committed to staying at the forefront for you, for your loved ones, for every human being. You can help us to maintain this goal with your contribution.
Thank you so much for your help.
Jazaak Allaahu Khayran.

For many years, international and civil society organizations have been marking ‘World Toilet Day’ all over the world. However it was not until July 2013 that the United Nations officially declared 19 November as ‘World Toilet Day’. The objective of World Toilet Day is to make sanitation problems a global priority and bring about changes in behaviour and policy on issues ranging from improving water management to ending open defecation.
