The hashtag #TraditionallySubmissive was used by many British Muslim women as they listed their accomplishments, successes, professions and hobbies.
The World Federation's 4th Executive Council (ExCo) will be held in Toronto, Canada on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd June 2019.
Join us next Friday and Saturday to learn more about the work we do and about our plans going forward. This is an opportunity for you, our community, to have your say on the work of your community organisation.
Over the course of the two days, we will be discussing various things including the role of women in our community and guidelines on leadership, as well as hearing updates from our various departments, including our humanitarian arm, WF-AID, Islamic Education and the Khoja Heritage Project.
AN OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK
ExCo is a great opportunity to meet and network with leaders and members of the community. The President, Office Bearers and Councillors of The World Federation, as well as Office Bearers of the Regional Federations will be in attendance, and you'll be able to pitch your questions directly to the leadership teams.

In addition to ExCo, there will be a Question Time event on Thursday 20th June 2019, where you will have the chance to put your questions directly to The World Federation Office Bearers team and Regional Leaders.
We’ll be taking questions from the audience throughout the evening, whether it is to discuss topics, raise concerns, feedback on the impact of their work or highlight new matters concerning the community. Join us on Thursday 20 June at 7.15pm and have your questions ready!
The Khoja Heritage Project of The World Federation of KSIMC is pleased to announce the Inaugural Conference of Khoja Studies to be convened in Paris in November 2016.
On Saturday 25 February 2017, Essex Jamaat opened its doors to guests from the local area. People attended from all faiths and none. The theme of the event was ‘Prophets and Messengers’.
