This week, we introduce you to one more mentor that has been selected to accompany the group this year.

1. Sister Ruiya Salim – Mombasa, Kenya
Ruiya Salim is 33 years old. She is married with two young children. Ruiya studies at Zahra Madrassa, and also teaches there every week. Ruiya is a Muballigha, and recites in Muharram in the Bilal rural centres. Her favourite subjects are Fiqh and Tafseer e Qur’an.

Ruiya states: “I am looking forward to joining this course because, apart from being a mentor, I will get the opportunity to gain more knowledge and interact with others. I hope to learn more and use the knowledge back home to educate others and thus improve myself and others spiritually.”
