STATEMENT: The World Federation responds to Baghdad Attacks

We are deeply saddened to hear of the terrible events in ‪‎Baghdad‬ last night. Terrorism is a global atrocity with no place in Islam and we strongly condemn this act of barbarity. During these last few nights of the Holy month, let's pray for the victims and their families and for an end to this violence.

Each year, in the Islamic month of Zilhajj, Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al Hajj, a religious holiday also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice”. This year, this event fell on the Gregorian calendar date of 5th October 2014.


The World Federation President, Dr Asgharali Moledina was invited as the Chief Guest at the Convocation Ceremony of boys graduating at Fatimiyah Boys School. The graduation ceremony was for those students that completed Metric (equivalent of GCSE) in September 2014.
