Whilst we feel despair in the midst of war, oppression and loss of innocent lives, we remember our wise and courageous lady in Karbala, Lady Zaynab (a) and her brief yet profound response to the oppressor, Yazid’s question regarding her view of what happened in Karbala – her eternal words echo in our minds, showing Lady Zaynab (a)’s unwavering faith and trust in the Almighty SWT.
مارأيتُ إلّا جميلا
