We are pleased to launch the revised edition of the book ‘Towards Eternal Life’ authored by Shaykh Muhammad Saeed Bahmanpour and translated by Shaykh Abbas Jaffer into English.
This 250-page paperback covers the (journey of) return of the human being to the Merciful and Compassionate Lord, as one transitions from this world to the next. This path that the human traverses is illustrated in light of the Qur’an and the Hadith of Rasulallah Muhammad (s) as in Sunni and Shi’a sources, and the narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a). The author further includes the opinions and experiences of both Islamic & Christian mystical philosophers to present a read that aims to answer the question of what lies after death.
Amongst the features of this revised edition is a revisit of all of the Arabic text, with vowelling, allowing those learning Arabic or not familiar with it, the ability to easily quote the original Arabic hadith in its eloquence and beauty.
