The recent visit of The WF President – Alhaj Safder Jaffer to Pakistan, spanning from October 24th to October 27th, highlighted significant strides in community development and socio-economic upliftment. The trip focused on reinforcing The WF’s commitment to growth and development of the community in Pakistan both in the spheres of economic upliftment and spiritual growth.

Mass Marriage Ceremony 

During The WF President – Alhaj Safder Jaffer’s visit to Muzaffargarh in South Punjab, he attended mass marriage ceremonies, celebrating the union of deserving couples. This project is annually supported by Mohsin & Fauzia Jaffer Foundation. As part of this meaningful initiative, each couple received essential household items to help them begin their new lives with greater ease and stability.

Opening of a Water Filtration Plant

Meeting with Educational School Leads at Fatimiyah Education Network 

The WF President – Alhaj Safder Jaffer under the auspices of KPSIAJ held a constructive meeting with the Educational Heads of community schools and education experts in Karachi. The discussion centered around collaborative strategies to enhance educational standards, promote sustainability, and create impactful learning environments for students. There was also extensive discussion on the UNDP Developmental goals and value based education.

Meeting with Khoja (Pirhai) Shia Isna Asheri Jamaat and Pakistan Federation

Alhaj Safder Jaffer – The WF President engaged in an in-depth meeting with the leadership of the Khoja (Pirhai) Shia Isna Asheri Jamaat (KPSIAJ) and the Pakistan Federation Management Committee. The session provided a comprehensive overview of each department’s initiatives and operational progress, fostering a collaborative exchange on strengthening community services.

Memorial Event for Marhum Mohamed Ali Jaffri

An event was organised (Taziati Jalsa) in honour of Marhum Mohamed Ali Jaffri that was attended by community members including Jamaats from Badin District who came to Karachi to pay due respects to this great community worker in Sindh.

Meeting with Badin Federation 

The WF President attended a lunch meeting with the Badin Federation and the Presidents of all Badin Jamaats, fostering an open dialogue on community needs and development opportunities. This gathering provided a valuable platform to discuss shared goals, strengthen relationships, and explore collaborative initiatives aimed at uplifting and empowering local communities in Badin.

The WF President attended the Khoja Heritage Project Youth event, engaging with young leaders and emphasizing the importance of cultural preservation. Following this, he met with Sindh’s Minister of Culture and Heritage, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, to discuss initiatives for safeguarding and promoting Khoja heritage in the region.

A meeting was held with the Managing Committee of KPSIAJ, where a range of ongoing activities were discussed as well as future developments and aspirations of the community in Karachi especially in the areas of economic upliftment, health, and education, were extensively discussed.
