WF President Alhaj Safder Jaffer visited Madagascar in mid-June for an extensive tour that included visits to both Khoja and Bilal community centres, as well as engagement with the local community and volunteers serving various institutions in Madagascar. The President also had the honour of attending the Rasool e Akram Centre’s graduation ceremony, reciting Majalis at the Tana Jamaat, as well as witnessing the official opening of housing complex and warehouses in presence of CROI and Africa Federation office bearers.
All events were also attended by a delegation from Hujjat Stanmore, including Hujjat Stanmore President – Alhaj Sibtain Alibhai, Secretary – Alhaj Mohsin Kassam, Alhaj Murtaza Gulamhussein, Alhaj Hasnain Merali and Alhaj Hussain Mawji.
Majalis at the Tana Jamaat
On the 16th June 2022/ 16th Dhu al-Qa’dah 1443, Alhaj Safder Jaffer had the opportunity to recite a majalis at the Tana Jamaat discussing the importance of our youth and how we should strive to further include the next generation within our community affairs.

Meeting with CROI
(Council Regional Federation of Madagascar)
Alhaj Safder Jaffer held a meeting with Council Regional Federation of Madagascar (CROI) on 17th June 2022 / 17th Dhu al-Qa’dah 1443, to discuss areas of mutual interest, particularly the effort to establishing our own community state of the art private school and hospital in Madagascar.
Visiting numerous centres run by the Khoja community
Later, on 17th June 2022 / 17th Dhu al-Qa’dah 1443, WF President took the opportunity of visiting numerous centres run by the Khoja community who assist the local Bilal communities. The Centre of Rasool E-Akram (CRA), one of the centres visited, is an orphanage project run under Shaykh Haniphe which has more than 300 children.
The President also had the chance to visit the Centre of Rasool E-Akram’s new state of the art boys orphanage which includes apartment facilities for dormitory and schooling.

The Hawza students, who are sponsored by The World Federation, were celebrating their graduation with awards being presented by Alhaj Safder Jaffer and Alhaj Raza Aly Hirdjee, in the presence of the Chairman of Africa Federation and UAKSIR (and Chairman Elect of Africa Federation), Alhaj Shabir Najafi and Alhaj Amine Nassor.

The following morning, 18th June 2022/18th Dhu al-Qa’dah 1443, Alhaj Safder paid a visit to a university established by Hirdjee Foundation led by Alhaj Raza Aly Hiridjee. The institution has a campus that caters for undergraduate students in addition to providing Hawza courses. Shaykh Ahmed, the Head of the Hawza studies of Ataba Al Husayniya Karbala, was present and conveyed the Salaams of Shaykh Abdul Abdul Mehdi Al Karbalai, who represents His Eminence Ayatollah Syed Ali Sistani (dz) in Karbala.

Launch of 8 new Warehouses and Housing Project
WF President in attendance at the inauguration with CROI of Madagascar,
Africa Federation Office Bearers and other dignitaries.
Following that, The WF president attended the launch of eight new warehouses with CROI of Madagascar. The warehouses will play a pivotal role for students in Madagascar seeking university education both locally and abroad, by providing investment income to all students through CROI.
In attendance of the inauguration was Africa Federation Chairman – Alhaj Shabir Najafi, Vice Chairman – Alhaj Anauali Kalfan, Head of Housing – Alhaj Akil Hirji and President of UAKSIR (and Chairman Elect of Africa Federation) – Alhaj Amine Nassor.
The President also attended the opening of a new Housing Complex in presence of various dignitaries and officials from Africa Federation, UAKSIR and local community members.
Africa Federation 28th Ordinary Conference
Alhaj Safder Jaffer visited Dar es Salaam and was in attendance at the 28th Ordinary Conference of Africa Federation, between the 14th and 17th of July 2022.
