For years, The WF has hosted this camp to nurture life skills and spiritual development in an environment full of support and encouragement. Thanks to our dedicated organizing team, the WF India Youth Camp has become an event that every participant looks forward to annually.

What can you expect?

– Spiritual Training: With daily Jamaat prayers, discussions on Islamic values, and guided reflections, participants leave spiritually enriched.

– Life Skills: Sessions will cover vital topics like balancing careers with Islamic knowledge, overcoming peer pressure, and understanding the importance of intention.

– Fun Activities: Sports, games, and creative challenges like treasure hunts and skits bring learning and fun together.

A Day at the Camp

Each day begins with Fajr Salaah in Jamaat and is packed with interactive classes, Qur’an sessions, and activity sessions that aim to make learning engaging and exciting. Every evening, participants come together for sports and games, fostering teamwork and camaraderie.

Interactive Sessions and Topics

Mentors, trained through The WF’s Mentor Training Program, lead sessions tailored to address the specific challenges and needs of today’s youth. Examples of a few topics include:

– Our Duties towards the Imam (aj)

– Mental Health with Islamic and Worldly Solutions

– Reality vs. Social Media

– Balancing Career and Islamic Knowledge

– Jealousy, Peer Pressure, and Puberty

In addition to these serious topics, last year, participants engaged in creative projects like making pop-up cards and gift bags, culminating in the popular “Secret Friends” card exchange!

Special Activities

Examples of the unique activities we offer:

– Know Your Infallibles: Explore the lives of the Aaimahs (a) through creative enactments.

– Know the Surahs: Dive into the stories of Surah Feel, Surah Lahab, Surah Zilzaal, and Surah Kaferoon through entertaining skits.

– Bonfire Reflection: At the girls’ camp, a bonfire session will help campers symbolically throw away bad habits they want to overcome.

Physical & Spiritual Growth

Beyond interactive classes, our spiritual guides are present to ensure participants’ spiritual development. Sessions before and after Salaah cover Islamic rules and practices, giving youth the opportunity to ask questions and deepen their understanding.

Every evening features sports and games like Football, Cricket, Kho-Kho, and the Treasure Hunt, a perennial favorite. These activities build teamwork and lifelong friendships in a fun, dynamic setting.

Theme of 2022: “Gift to Parents”

This year’s theme centers around the concept of gratitude towards parents. Participants will learn and reflect on duas like:

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ

رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

These duas emphasize the importance of praying for our parents and recognizing their sacrifices.
